Good to know
- One account runs one room. If several rooms run at the same time, each room needs its own account; the accounts can be billed together.
- Your team can sign in to the same account on several devices. One device sends the audio; the others can start, pause and stop the translation remotely.
- Set your listener link before you print QR codes. If you change it later, the old link and printed codes stop working.
- Streamlingo detects the spoken language by itself. For a fixed voice, set a fixed source language in the settings and choose a female or male voice.
- A language only runs, and is only billed, while someone is listening. It keeps running for 30 seconds after the last listener leaves. With continuous transcription switched on, one language keeps running throughout.
- Keep the tab on the device that sends the audio visible during the translation. That is also where you find help with the microphone and extend the session when it reaches its maximum duration.
