  1. Scope of application:

These terms of use govern the use of the Streamlingo web application, which is provided by Tim-Cedric Inhoff. By registering with Streamlingo, the user accepts these conditions.


  1. Registration and account:

The use of Streamlingo services requires registration. The user must provide a valid e-mail address and a password. Each account is individual and may not be used by several users at the same time for different events at the same time.


  1. Services:

Streamlingo offers real-time translation services through AI-powered technologies and interpreting options. Users can customize language settings and specify whether the translation should be done by an AI or by an interpreter. The quality and accuracy of translations may vary and Tim-Cedric Inhoff accepts no liability for translation errors. Tim-Cedric Inhoff reserves the right to change, expand or partially discontinue the services offered at any time.


  1. Availability:

Streamlingo's services are designed to achieve an annual average availability of 95%. However, planned maintenance work or unforeseen outages may occur. We endeavor to schedule updates and maintenance to minimize service interruptions.
Please note that Streamlingo is only responsible for the availability and functionality of its own web interface. Outages or disruptions caused by problems on the user's side, such as internet problems, device errors or other network failures, are beyond our responsibility and liability.


  1. Rights of use to translated content:

The rights to the translations and transcriptions generated by Streamlingo services are not transferred from the providers of the translations and transcriptions used API providers (e.g. Google, OpenAI) to Tim-Cedric Inhoff. Users receive the right to use these translations for the respective contractual purpose and period, as long as this does not damage the image of Streamlingo or Tim-Cedric Inhoff. When publication of the translations, a reference must be made to Streamlingo.


  1. Fees:

The use of Streamlingo is subject to a fee. Billing is based on a monthly basic price plus variable costs that depend on the actual use of the services. Details of the tariffs and billing modalities can be found on the Streamlingo website.


  1. Prohibited activities:

Users are not permitted to use the services of Streamlingo for illegal activities or to take measures that could impair the functionality or operation of the platform.


  1. Termination:

Users may terminate their accounts on the next contractually agreed termination date. Tim-Cedric Inhoff reserves the right to block or terminate accounts in the event of violations of these Terms of Use.


  1. Changes to the terms of use:

Tim-Cedric Inhoff reserves the right to change these terms of use at any time. Users will be notified of any changes in good time. Continued use of the services following such changes shall be deemed to constitute acceptance of the new conditions.


  1. Exclusion of liability:

Tim-Cedric Inhoff is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits or consequential damages resulting from the use or inability to use the services. Liability for direct damages is limited to the amount paid by the user in the last month before the damage occurred. This limitation of liability also applies to breaches of cardinal obligations, except in cases of intent or gross negligence on the part of Tim-Cedric Inhoff.Applicable law and place of jurisdiction:
The law of the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany applies to these terms of use. The place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from this contract is Karlsruhe.


  1. Severability clause:

Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid or unenforceable or become invalid or unenforceable after conclusion of the contract, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of the GTC.

Streamlingo offers a real-time language translation platform specifically designed for conferences and meetings. The platform allows users to customize language settings and facilitate multilingual communication in real time.


  1. Functionalities:

AI-supported translation: Users can choose to have their spoken content translated into preselected target languages using AI technologies. This function records speech, which is then output in the translated language. The following languages are currently supported: Afrikaans, Arabic, Armenian, Azerbaijani, Belarusian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, Galician, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Kazakh, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Malay, Marathi, Maori, Nepalese, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Tagalog, Tamil, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Vietnamese, Welsh. The supported languages may change depending on the state of the art.


  1. Interpreter support:

For users who prefer a more personal and possibly more accurate translation, Streamlingo offers the option of using their own interpreters. The platform provides the technical infrastructure to enable interpreters to access and forward their translations to the audience via audio transmission. This can result in slight latencies.


  1. Performance limits and notes:

Delays: Due to the nature of voice capture and processing, there may be slight delays in translation. Incomplete sentences are held back until a complete sentence is captured, which can also lead to short delays. Quality of translation: The quality of the AI-supported translation may vary and depends on the clarity of the voice input and the complexity of the spoken content. Streamlingo accepts no liability for errors in the translation.

Streamlingo is committed to protecting and respecting the privacy of its users. Personal data collected through registration and use of the services, including email addresses and voice recordings, will be treated in accordance with the provisions of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and local data protection laws.

Voice recordings are forwarded to the API providers Google and OpenAI for transcription, translation and language generation. The voice recordings are stored until the start of the customer's next event; transcripts and translations are currently stored permanently.

Procedure in the event of a breach of the GTC In the event of a breach of these Terms of Use, Tim-Cedric Inhoff reserves the right to temporarily or permanently withdraw access to the services from the user accounts concerned. Affected users will be informed of the measure and have the opportunity to appeal against the decision.
