(3) Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the selected service plan, the account entitles a single user to use the Services. Concurrent use of the account by multiple individuals or on multiple devices at the same time is not permitted. The registered user is, of course, permitted to use the account for different, consecutive events.
§ 3 Services and Scope of Performance

The Services are designed to achieve high availability. However, planned maintenance or unforeseen outages may occur. Our responsibility is limited to the availability and functionality of our web interface. Disruptions caused by user-side issues (e.g., internet problems) are outside our responsibility.
§ 5 Rights of Use for Content
(1) The user receives the non-exclusive right, limited to the purpose and duration of the contract, to use the translations and transcriptions created by the Services.
(2) Any use that damages the reputation of Streamlingo GmbH is prohibited. When publishing the translations, an appropriate reference to Streamlingo as the source must be made.
§ 6 Fees and Payment
The use of Streamlingo is subject to a fee. Billing is based on the pricing structure presented on the website or in an individual offer.
§ 7 Prohibited Activities
It is prohibited to use the Services for illegal activities or to take actions that could impair the functionality or operation of the platform.

§ 9 Liability
(1) Streamlingo GmbH is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence.
(2) In cases of simple negligence, we are only liable for the breach of an essential contractual obligation (cardinal duty). In this case, liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. For data loss, we are only liable for the amount of effort that would have been required for recovery if the user had performed regular and appropriate data backups.
(3) Liability for indirect damages, especially lost profits, is excluded.
§ 10 Intellectual Property and Rights to Content
(1) Ownership of the Services: The software, the “Streamlingo” brand, and all related components are and will remain the sole intellectual property of Streamlingo GmbH and are protected by copyright laws.
(2) License to Use the Services: Streamlingo GmbH grants the user a non-exclusive, non-transferable right, limited to the term of the contract, to use the Services in accordance with the contract. The user is prohibited from copying, modifying, or reverse-engineering the software or parts thereof.
(3) Rights to User-Created Content: The rights to the content that the user creates with the help of the Services (in particular the audio recordings of the translations and their transcripts) belong fully to the user. To avoid any doubt, Streamlingo GmbH hereby grants the user the exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, and unrestricted right to use this created content for any purpose, in particular to reproduce, distribute, make publicly available (e.g., on podcast platforms), and to modify it.

(3) Should individual provisions of these T&C be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected.
General description:
Streamlingo offers a real-time language translation platform specifically designed for conferences and meetings. The platform allows users to customize language settings and facilitate multilingual communication in real time.
Functionalities:
AI-supported translation: Users can choose to have their spoken content translated into preselected target languages using AI technologies. This function records speech, which is then output in the translated language. The following languages are currently supported: Afrikaans, Arabic, Armenian, Azerbaijani, Belarusian, Bosnian, Bulgarian, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, English, Estonian, Finnish, French, Galician, German, Greek, Hebrew, Hindi, Hungarian, Icelandic, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Kannada, Kazakh, Korean, Latvian, Lithuanian, Macedonian, Malay, Marathi, Maori, Nepalese, Norwegian, Persian, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Serbian, Slovakian, Slovenian, Spanish, Swahili, Swedish, Tagalog, Tamil, Thai, Turkish, Ukrainian, Urdu, Vietnamese, Welsh. The supported languages may change depending on the state of the art.
Interpreter support:
For users who prefer a more personal and possibly more accurate translation, Streamlingo offers the option of using their own interpreters. The platform provides the technical infrastructure to enable interpreters to access and forward their translations to the audience via audio transmission. This can result in slight latencies.
Performance limits and notes:
Delays: Due to the nature of voice capture and processing, there may be slight delays in translation. Incomplete sentences are held back until a complete sentence is captured, which can also lead to short delays. Quality of translation: The quality of the AI-supported translation may vary and depends on the clarity of the voice input and the complexity of the spoken content. Streamlingo GmbH accepts no liability for errors in the translation.
